sorry guys...

Posted by hormd at 11:46 PM on April 1, 2004.

i've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and i think it's about time to put this blog to an end. you might notice that i aint updating it on a regular basis anymore. well there's a couple reasons for that. one reason is because i lost interest in this whole bloggin thing. i mean it was fun and all letting my friends know wassup with my life, but i figure it's much better to tell them in person instead. i mean that's why we call em our friends.

another reason why i wanna stop bloggin is because my life is boring. my first reason i started blogging was because i wanted to show off to my high school friends that i made new ischool friends. well my high school friends are sick of hearing about my ischool friends, and i'm sick of talking about it all the time too. that combined with the fact that neither of my friends blog anymore makes me feel like the grown man who hasn't let go of his blankey yet.

yeah, it's pretty sad how much time i wasted away writing my blogs or reading other people's blogs. lately it feels like i've been reborn into a new life, eventhough my life's pretty sad. another sad thing is that this is the only april fool's joke i can think of. pretty sad, huh?

catching up

Posted by hormd at 07:52 AM on April 5, 2004.

so i guess i should blog about the khmer new years show, huh? hmm, what to say...well if u didn't see the show, that's okay cuz my family didn't come by either. so i'll prolly buy the dvd. the whole khmer club was shocked to hear that my family couldn't make it, but luckily i have friends that like to splurge every once in awhile.

i met up with my ischool peepz after the show. they were convinced that i was playing myself. well, i'm just a natural farmer #1, and baby eagle 2. syke, actually i did change up my lines so i could remember them better. i went looking for my high school friends and couldn't find em anywhere. i was convinced that they didn't show up, but bonna was an eye-witness of their arrival.

i was gonna call em up, but then i saw the dance circle got pretty big. i was gonna take some laps around the dance floor, but then i realized that the reason my family couldn't make it was cuz they were all elsewhere. delora had her own performance in everett, and i was suppose to take care of her while parents were outta town. i went home right away cuz my lil sister wasn't answering her cell. thankfully, she couldn't answer cuz i was calling during her performance 0=)

alrighty, didn't wanna blog about that whole night cuz this blog's title has multiple meanings. well actually it's just catching up on this weekend. but also i wanted to catch up on my school work now that this is all over with. but i guess after the party there is the tear down and clean up. and after doing that, the ischool girls wanted to karaoke. i stayed out a lil longer than i expected, and i was suppose to catch up on my sleep, but i woke up during REM. been awhile since i remembered my dream, and i'd explain it here and all, but this blog is getting too long. let's just say that i thought a van really crashed through my house.

healthy choice

Posted by hormd at 04:08 PM on April 6, 2004.

if you haven't heard by now, the silver bullets won their first soccer game. the score was, us enuff people, them didn't have enuff people. yup, our first win was by default, w00t. after the game there were no mom's to hand out oranges or apples =(

i want to be healthy. but all of the healthy products are marketed towards women. i mean i like eating special k, but why does it have to be all pink? last time i remember it having all of this information on breast cancer on the back. dont get me wrong, i support the cause and all, but why do i gotta girly to be healthy? the nourishe drink/yogurt thingy advertises a young business lady too busy for breakfast.

what about all the l33t h4x0r ninjas that are too lazy to make breakfast? i believe there's a market of computer nerds that want to be healthy, but they cant when all of the healthy products clash with their culture. there should be some drink with enuff vitamins and minerals to kill a small mammal. pump it with lots of caffinee cuz that's what computer guys run on. ooo, and make it glow in the dark. yeah these night owls are on a mission to be l33t and healthy at the same time. i think i'll dub the drink Nocturnal eMissions.

i know you like to think ur shit down stank, but lean a little bit closer, see, roses really smell like wooo ooo ooo

bday bbq

Posted by hormd at 03:08 PM on April 10, 2004.

i went through a whole week of "dont talk to anybody" mode in hopes that it'll put me in "lets catch up homework and readings" mode. it was until i skipped class that got me in the mood to get started on the google project. so let that be a lesson to you, just skip class if u wanna keep up.

denise was hosting her's and alan's bday at her mom's. i almost died starting up the grill because the tube connecting the propane tank to the grill had a couple leaks. and the friggin fire just had to be right next to the nozzle to turn off the propane tank. luckily i was in "dammit why am i here when i should be doing homework" mode, that plus the adrenaline and fire put me in the zone. i didn't even think about it, and i risked first degree burns to close the propane tank and saved everybody's life. um yeah, we're charcoal guys anyway.

it was a fun night filled with food, games, booze, drama and porn o_0 (it sux being the designated driver) another sucky thing was that i didn't wake up in time to goto the temple for the real khmer new years.

thought process

Posted by hormd at 12:28 AM on April 12, 2004.

i'm bored. let's surf on my ghetto laptop. maybe i should get a new cell phone plan because i'm paying an extra $10 for internet service i dont even use. if only i could connect my cell to my laptop and use it as a modem. oh wait, there's prolly a usb connector cable out there. hmm $30...and maybe an extra $30 for drivers. ooo, they even have a cable to connect my cell to my pda. ouch $80...ooo, but for an extra $10, i can hook up the cell to the pda and both to the car cigarette lighter.

man, needing a mouse for my laptop is pretty ghetto. this wire is pretty annoying. i bet all of those cables for my cell will get annoying fast. oh wait, that's why they invented bluetooth. hey, my pda has integrated bluetooth! but my cell and my laptop dont...looks like i can find hella laptops with integrated bluetooth. hey there's a report that sprint has a bluetooth phone. that's weird, cant find it on their online stores. maybe i'll ask the forum.

or maybe i should just get a whole new cell with whole new service. hey i know ischool peeps that have bluetooth on their phones. i'll check to see which is better, the nokia or sony ericsson. but i like my plan because i'm only paying an extra $10 when it really should be $15. oh hey, the forum sez that sprint's bluetooth phone isn't on their online store because i need to call in. whoa...some scandelous things going on with that phone. maybe i should just buy the cable...

oh wait, tuition due date is coming up. dammit...maybe i should brace for that instead. or maybe i should stop thinking bout this and start reading for class.

it costs two cents

Posted by hormd at 11:12 PM on April 13, 2004.

interesting topic in class today. green said that it was unethical to pay individuals to do questionaires. but then trevor brought up the point that carlyle paid people at the mall 10 bux to do her catagorizing study. ironically when i check my mail, i found out that western washington sent me a questionaire. no they're not gonna pay me, but i can enter to win $300 gift certificate towards any store of my choice.

i kinda see where green is coming at when he sez 20% questionaire return rate is considered great. but sometimes it just sounds like, "i'm right, and your wrong" or "what da hell u tryin to say?" and the intro letter does say i can enter the raffle w/o filling out the questionaire. but how ethical would that be? and what i really want to know is what store should i choose if i win?

this morning's events

Posted by hormd at 12:28 AM on April 15, 2004.

the sun rays enter my room, and i hit the snooze
i close my eyes, and think about you
i'll take a moment, to lay down like this
it feels so warm and comfy, to reminisce

your hair, it shines, and smells like the rain
you blossom when you smile, it's spring time again
there's always pink petals, following your footsteps
it's the time of season, that i'll never forget

i have tears in my eyes, and i'm all choked up
maybe it's allergies, or maybe it's love
with my stuffy nose, you're the nostril i need
you dont know how much you help me to breathe

a new step in my walk, a new beat in my heart
so many things i wanna say, dunno where i wanna start
i'll take it nice and slow girl, no need to rush
and wait, ah crap, i'm gonna miss the bus

true story

Posted by hormd at 09:08 PM on April 23, 2004.

once upon a winter quarter, david finished paying for his lunch at by george. in the middle of the day, the tables were jammed packed with students, and this sophmore didn't know where to sit. he figured the next best thing to sitting next to a cute girl was sitting next to two cute girls. he found some playing cards, and noticed they were playing thirteen. it was the same card game that david used for financial support back in high school.

with something in common, david was able to break the ice and talk to the freshmen girls. good times were made, but father time shows no compassion for those having fun. the three parted for class, but luckily one of the girls was taking the same class as david. he was estatic that he was able to make some new friends, however, fate works in funny ways. that classmate/girl dropped one of the courses they had together, and kept on skipping the other class, so they never really got to know eachother.

the snow melted, the rain poured, the sun shined, and the leaves fell. a whole year has passed and david was doing his best to fight spring allergies. he was chilling with teresa when her roommate said she's seen him before.

"yeah, did you ever eat at by george? and play cards with 2 random girls?" asked nirorth. david looked at teresa and nirorth with disbelief. this casual chilling was actually a reunion of his long lost friends he never made. fate does work in funny ways.

and on thursday and friday and saturday, we chilled on sunday

i apologize to all of my fans because i haven't been updating this blog lately. you might think teresa's hogging all of david to herself, but that's not true (besides, she's a giver ^_~). it's just that i've been swamped with school work, that i haven't had any time to enjoy life. take this week for example.

monday: working on 310 model comparison paper
tuesday: drawing entity relationship diagrams for 340
wednesday: working on feasibility report for 380
thursday: pasta night at jamie's
friday: get drunk at jenny's (jae lo) bday
saturday: import nights after party at showbox
sunday: prolly have something due monday

so if you want to hang out with me, then i ask that you schedule it 2 weeks ahead of time...unless you're sexy. which reminds me, my class is gonna go on a booze cruise friday june 4th. we need more ppl to make tickets cheap. so just think for 25 bux, you can hang out with my cohort and it's all you can drink. no hard A though T_T but if u wanna go, lemme know. oh yeah, and u have to be 21+

haha, this blog was suppose to state what i was currently feeling (mixed emotions), but i dont even have any time for that.

wanna know why?

Posted by hormd at 09:20 PM on April 29, 2004.

some things shouldn't be said. but that's why they invented the blog. so how did i know?

remember that one day u invited me over to study with you? i thought that was your way of saying, "lets procrastinate together." but i actually got a lot of reading done, while you were having too much fun chatting with him online. i didn't know i could be so ignorable.

remember that one day you invited me over to chillax? and when i got there, you said that ur head hurt and you just needed some alone time? and then he came over and you started smiling again. that's why i gave you more alone time.
